New Site: Eagle Urban Renewal

The fourth site we’re launching this week is Eagle Urban Renewal.  This one was elegant and clean.  It’s a CMS site with plenty of content panes and a blog.

New site: OEC

We’ve launched a site for is OEC office furniture this week.  They wanted a clean, modern look with lots of image galleries.  The coolest part about this site is that the bulk of the furniture listings aren’t entered manually, but are piped in from their vendors.  We built a tool that grabs the feed of that information and lets OEC to choose what products to display, what description and images to use, and allows them to add their own information to the listing as well.  That way, OEC doesn’t have to upload their content manually, but they still have control of what is displayed on the page.

The other cool feature is a login protected area that allows some of OEC’s larger customers to view their own catalogs and prices.  It’s a pretty slick site.

New Website!

We are pleased to launch our new website with more informative content. We welcome your comments and inputs on whether or not you like our new website and any suggestions you may have to make it better. So don’t be shy and let us know your thoughts.

New Diggs!

Alrighty, October has been a whirlwind!  Things are finally getting back to normal, though.  What’ve we been up to? Glad you asked.

For those who don’t know, we’ve moved from our North End location on Hays up to a bigger space near the airport…very near the airport.  The fighter jets can be a bit much, but hey, I can walk to the terminal.

We’ve been in our new office for about a month now, and it’s starting to feel like home.  All the staples are here: Kuerig, Margaritaville machine, pinball machine…and a few work items here and there for good measure.

What sort of work items?  The kind that allow us to build a new full-scale backup and recovery service, or a serisously wicked map module for real estate firms (both coming soon). We’re not bored, that is for sure!  BIG things are coming as the year comes to a close.  Our new space and team members are letting us build some killer offerings that will fire up our hosting and design services.  Stay tuned!

We’re Moving

Valice will be moving to Airport Way on October 1st. We’ll do our best to spread the word over the next few weeks. Katie is eagerly picking out paint colors…can’t wait to introduce everyone to our new digs…think JR Ewing circa 1985.

We’re Hiring

That’s right.  Valice is on the lookout for a few superb individuals.  Check our Careers page for more info.

Heat Isn’t the Only Thing on The Rise This Summer!

Our numbers are too! Some of you may have noticed two new faces hanging out at the Valice office. Who are they you ask?  We happily reply—our new employees!

Last month we brought two talented and cool individuals on board the fun bus (a.k.a. 902 W. Hays).

Daniel Spears united forces with us early this summer working as an intern and is now a full-time Jr. Programmer.  With his quick speed and programming smarts we’re thrilled to have him.

Our new Project Manager, Michelle Caster, brings with her over seven years of experience in marketing and advertising.   With past employers such as Red Rocket PR & Marketing in Los Angeles and Drake Cooper here in Boise, she is bringing loads of skill and pizzazz to our table.

Want to meet them?  Swing by the office and say hello, shake their hand, give them a hug, congratulate them, gifts are always welcome!

Welcome aboard Daniel and Michelle!

Happy July 4th!

What is July 4?  It is the 185th day of the year (186th in leap years) in the Gregorian calendar. There are 180 days remaining until the end of the year. Aphelion, the point in the year when the Earth is farthest from the Sun, occurs around this date.

Have a Happy and Safe 4th!
